First, congratulations, Movers-up! Today isn’t just a moment to celebrate your hard work and promotion to Senior High School; it’s a powerful reminder that growth doesn’t end here—it levels up.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from being a Master Teacher in the Senior High School at APEC Schools when I started here, it’s that students come in with different kinds of expectations. Some arrived thinking school is just about getting grades, others expect it to be a survival game of deadlines and projects, and a select few believe they’ve somehow signed up for a reality show filled with drama, friendship, and plot twists. What they don’t expect is how much they will grow—not just academically, but in mindset, character, and habit now under the umbrella of Kahusayan, Katapatan, Malasakit, Pagkamalikhain , Integridad – KaKaMPI.

APEC Schools may be young, but its mission has been clear since day one—to prepare students for the unpredictable, tech-driven, fast-changing world we live in. Education isn’t just about knowing facts; it’s about knowing what to do with them. Through skill-based learning, real-world experiences, and digital application, APEC has shaped learners who can think, adapt, and thrive beyond the classroom.

I have seen this firsthand. I’ve witnessed students shift from hesitation to confidence, from struggling with a concept to mastering it, from thinking “I can’t” to realizing “I just did.” You, the students sitting here today, have embraced a different way of learning—overcoming challenges that, at times, probably felt impossible.

And yes, I get it—moving up to Senior High feels like stepping into the unknown. The education landscape itself sometimes feels uncertain, scattered with doubts, fear, and misinformation about the future. But let me assure you: You are ready.

And here’s the proof: after Grade 10, these same young learners step into Senior High with habits honed to relentless consistency, and mindsets tuned to treat “failure” as “first useful attempt.” Every day they get better—better problem-solvers, collaborators, creators—because we didn’t just teach them to learn; we taught them how to learn.

That’s what this Moving Up ceremony symbolizes in the APEC universe: a launchpad. So go on—keep asking outrageous questions, chasing wild ideas, and rewriting what ‘possible’ looks like. After all, in the APEC universe, we don’t just move up; we soar.”
