A Powerful Partnership
In Education
In May 2019, the Yuchengco Group of Companies and Ayala Corporation completed a merger between their education entities, AC Education and iPEOPLE Inc., with iPEOPLE as the surviving entity.
The merger encompasses seven educational institutions, providing quality education across income segments in various regions. This strategic alliance aims to capture the growing student market by offering affordable yet high-quality education to over 60,000 students.
APEC Schools History
2013
APEC Schools, a subsidiary of Ayala Corporation, was founded with the vision of providing affordable and quality private education to Filipinos and with the mission of preparing students for college and employment. It is a chain of private high schools that offers the K-12 program of the Department of Education.
There were 130 pioneer students.
2014
Grew it’s community to 1,300 students.
2015
The school doubled its population to 3,300 students.
2016
The Accounting Business Management academic strand (ABM) was offered along with the launch of the K-12 program. It was the first batch of Senior High School students. With a total of 10,500 students.
2017
The number of students has grown to 16,225. The growth in manpower was also evident from 570 to over 700 employees.
2018
APEC Schools celebrated its 5th year with 18,065 students across its Metro Manila and Calabarzon branches. 2,009 grade 12 students graduated with the majority of them continuing to college while others chose to work. From those who chose to work, 58% were employed by our Employment partners nine weeks post-graduation.
2019

Now on its 10th year, APEC Schools now envisions to be the school of choice for real-world learning in every community and with the mission of transforming lives through accessible and innovative education.
