Our Junior High School program is a four-year secondary education curriculum that prepares the students for the challenges of Senior High School. It provides students academic as well as life lessons to develop their critical thinking while having the social skills that will enable them to successfully collaborate, lead and help the community.
English is the primary medium of instruction in all subjects except Filipino. APEC Schools believes that having the confidence and good command of the language is necessary to navigate and succeed in college, career, and life. English, Math, and Science are the core subjects, while Filipino, Social Studies, and MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health) are the supporting subjects.

Our Senior High School program is a two-year curriculum offering two academic strands: Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand.
All our Senior High School students take the Accelerated Career Experience (ACE) program, immersing them in a series of simulated work scenarios. ACE was developed in collaboration with our employment partners to ensure that the students gain skills and experience relevant to the workplace.

ACADEMIC TRACKS

The ABM strand focuses on the basic concepts of financial management, business management, corporate operations, and other related fields. Ideal for those who are inclined to business, entrepreneurship, and other business-related careers. This strand can be your gateway to careers in management and accounting which include being a sales manager, human resource person, marketing director, project officer, bookkeeper, accounting clerk, internal auditor, and a lot more.
If you have dreamt of running a business, comfortable in dealing with numbers, and eager in striking deals, choose the ABM strand and start your bright corporate career.

The STEM strand deals with several disciplines of science, mathematics, and the application of digital technology appropriately. This strand can lead you to careers such as Civil Engineer, Biologist, Statistician, Software Developer, and more – careers that let you solve real-world challenges.
For those who are curious about the complexities of science, those who are inclined to machines and how it makes the way of life easier, and those who dive deep in numbers, choose the STEM strand and take part in creating the future.

The HUMSS develops critical thinking skills by exposing students to a range of diverse perspectives and ideas from various disciplines, such as literature, history, philosophy, and social sciences. Through reading, research, and analysis, students learn how to evaluate arguments, weigh evidence, and make informed decisions.
Moreover, the program can help foster a growth mindset by encouraging students to embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks, and view failures as opportunities for growth and learning. In HUMSS, students are often required to engage in independent research, creative writing, and public speaking, which can help build their confidence and resilience.
Finally, the program can also develop discipline in Senior High School students by promoting the value of hard work, time management, and self-directed learning. HUMSS courses provide a significant amount of reading, writing, and research, which prepares APEC students to develop the skills and habits necessary for success in college and beyond.
